Cancer. Cancer can turn your life upside-down and cause you to feel depressed, anxious and alone. But you and your loved ones don’t have to go it alone. Kate Ellis Counseling can help calm the chaos and provide emotional support, to get back to living the life you want.
Here are some examples I can assist you with:
- Symptom management (i.e., nausea, sleeplessness, pain, etc.)
- Anxiety, stress, & worry
- Depression
- Relationship issues
- Grief & loss
- Talking to your children about cancer
- Work issues
- Seeking meaning or fulfillment
As a Nationally Certified Counselor, I have 6 years of experience working with cancer patients on clinical trials and have my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado.I provide a menu of online and in-person support services so you can pick and choose what’s right for you. My services include:
- Online video counseling: We can speak face-face (portraying the nuances of body language and tone of voice), but delivered with the ease and convenience of online.
- In-person counseling: If technology isn’t your thing, in-person sessions at VAST Wellness Center may be the right choice for you.
- Phone counseling: Communicating by phone can be another great way of getting support you need, without having to leave the comfort of your home.
- Instant Messaging (IM) counseling: Online chat can provide that instant therapeutic connection you’re looking for in-between sessions.
- Email counseling: Having a professional you can bounce things off of via email can be invaluable when dealing with the everyday stresses of cancer.
