Talk therapy is the main modality I utilize at Turning Point Family Therapy. I practice therapy from a strategic eclectic approach. This approach allows me to match suitable clinical methods to the needs of specific clients. In other words, I utilize an array of techniques so therapy is specific to each client. About Me
My mission as a therapist is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel free to express yourself. I respect the mind, body, and spirit to promote clients’ vitality, passion and purpose. I honor the uniqueness of each individual while allowing the family to bloom.
I believe therapy should be a collaborative process between the client and me. I value working with clients’ strengths as a way to help clients reach goals and make positive changes. I believe therapy is not meant to fix parts of us that are broken but to allow us to become the best version of ourselves.
I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2005. I completed my Master of Science in Counseling Degree from the University of Phoenix . My degree specialization is in marriage, family and child therapy. I also have gained specialized training from Judi’s House, Denver , Colorado .
